In our new window display we test the boundaries of the Fantastic with interesting fairy and folk tales for adults from around the world, and from a variety of perspectives. From our range of the excellent (and imported!) Pantheon Folk and Fairy Tales series, to Andrew Lang's classic Victorian selections, to the postmodern fairy tales of Angela Carter and Robert Coover, to Merz Fairy Tales by the enigmatic Dadaist Kurt Schwitters, to critical works by authors such as Marina Warner and Bruno Bettelheim, our window this month is a Wunderkammer of the liminal and lost worlds of Faery and the oral tale.
